Well in my opinion its all a matter of perspectives. What is dating allowance..........just some extra bonus money being distributed by companies for the benefit of their employees and this term/activity definitely sounds a lot more recreational. But why the hullaboo over it..... just take it as any other allowance being given by the organisation....say, like birthday allowance. Whether its dating or birthday, its not necessary that we spend or utilise it for that purpose only. Even if we do, so what.....all the more better. But this hype is there because an employee was dating another one within the same organisation despite being married. Well the allowances does not have to do anything with it. If a person has to go two ways, it would still go for it...whether within the organisation or outside it. And btw, even our company gives us both but this has never ever created any problems because of it. So stop comparing the two and see them as two different aspects. Cheers :))

Dating allowance? Got no clue what it is but from what I can sum up its basically telling your boss to give you a little extra cash so you can go dating your partner instead of working... sure..what a brilliant idea that is to get money...idiots...don't you know anything about good advertising. You should ask for extra tuiton allowance...tell the boss that you want to improve your skills at work and are willing to join tuitons at his expense..use that money for dating..atleast he will give the cash that way...but yea "dating allowance"... I do like that...worth a shot to use on dad. "dad I need my allowance.." he gives it to me. "and dad..i need my dating allowance too"... will probably get shot in the head..but its worth a try. so shawan...how are you?

I heard about a wife who is complaining about the dating allowance being given to husband by a company in the US. well...people complain only they see misuse of the purpose. Increase in the bonus might serve as more meaning than giving allowances in the name of dating ; it looks so odd and funny. chers, -us

never heard of it until now ...in the US that is anyhow if the company wants to give one to an employee to destress while out with a date ..I suppose it is alright .. I dont see how this can be abused .. I love what the ninja says here ... wow ..India sure is making progress ..and in the right direction too !!

Dating allowance? I do not mind coz:- 1) All inflows are welcome....I do not care the head under which they are clubbed.... 2) One query....would there be any tax deductions??? 3) Any qualifications required?? lolz... Let us have it anyways...ha ha

dating allowance ??...as such the company said to be giving this has refused there is no such allowance given...from my perspective i have seen many companies encoruaging inter company dating and they provide huge marriage allowances if 2 of their employees make a couple.. just one way to keep both husb n wife in the company so that they spend more time in office than at home ..everything leads to exploitation

on dating allowance i think that , the term dating is a loose ly used term isnt dating all about just meeting a person so if ur are given a certain amount to chill with ur friends and kins i see no wrong and see indi always ready for such stuff thanx byee see you shrawan

I dont mind any allowance as long as it goes into my pocket :P but is it neccessary to date a fella colleague?..so boring! *yawn* n anyways..all this luks like a way to exploit employees,..so that they spend more time in offc!! X-(
