Mumbai Terror Attacks and Politicians

Do you think that our politicians will take any lesson from the Mumbai terror attacks ?

BLOGESH says: UNFORTUNATELY NOT ! OUR POLITICIANS BY AND LARGE HAVE NEVER EVER DEMONSTRATED ENOUGH MATURITY IN PAST। EVERY TIME EVEN AFTER WORST OF ITS EVENTS THEY HAVE SPRUNG UP WITH POLITICS AND SELF CENTERED GAMES. IT IS TIME , HIGH TIME, FOR US TO WAKE UP BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE....

Niceguy251 says: Are you dreaming? Just wait for a few days to see them all trying to capitalise on this tragedy for their benefit or party's gain in political mileage।

Ruggedboyz says: Ur thoughts are secong by actor aamir in his blog he says the same he wouldnt want the issue to be politically used but then rivers dont change direction they flow in, the sun would change the direction it rises from and not stop shining one day and similarly in a corrupt india it is wrong to dream in the near future that politicians will literally take lessons from a catastrophe that is far from हप्पेनिंग

SMITA RAJAN says: No, they will not। After a week, everything would be forgotten.

VS says:If tigers were 2 turn vegetarians, surely our politicians will learn a लेस्सों

Kaua says: Never ! they are no less than the terrorist themselves... they have the audacity to term such trageic events as "small things" and to do act in a completely illiterate and irresponsible manner॥n we expect them to tk action...certainly this will not happen...always a hype is created n nothing comes out of it...a corrupt replaces the other corrupt n the same thing goes on...its only we as citizens who cn do sumthing...they are so insensitive they dnt evn feel the pain of what has happened...

LP says: Yes, they will secure ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ s

Dr. Kalam and Vision 2020

China, India set to be leading powers by 2025: US intelligence.Do you think that a developed India, by 2020 or even earlier is not a dream ?

Niceguy251 says: is very much possible with only hitch being our petty minded politicians।

Busybee says: I dont understand this fixation with being a developed nation when 60% of us are under the poverty line... But the 2020 target is entirely possible॥

VS says:Financially , we may come at par wid the developed world, But the attitude of the common man, wud it change in such a short tym, wud politics become attractive option 2 us all, wud u find ppl not spitting everywhere, wud traffic be organized as in the west, wud women get the respect they deserve. wud wrong practices/superstitions be a thing of the past, in the name of God.
& the list is endless
if we can change these things, then yes, else i may sound pessimist :(
sending a indian 2 the moon by 2020, wud not mean a damn 2 me, if i have a bhelpuri @ Chowpaty @ Mumbai, have a bit left & i throw the paper only 4 a poor hungry urchin try 2 grab it b4 a dog does, so that he can have a bite of what i discard....THIS IS THE TRUE OF MERA BHARAT MAHAN॥

Ruggedboyz says: Now we all do know that india has a great gdp going its way and it is higher then china right now and if only it is sustained surely india in 20 to 30 years will be a different place with educated indians being the order of day slowly and surely but by 2020 is a lil early i guess but yes very soon maybe not by 20 but soon

India Moon Mission

Should India send a man to the Moon? Will this benefit the country or could the money be more wisely spent?

VS says: A BIG NO। There are too many basic issues at hand that are top priority on mother earth , specially Bharat Mata. let us have roads that dont resemble the moons surface. let every child be fed & no mal nutrirition remain. let medical facility be available 2 all, wid the kind of taxes we pay, thats possible.

Ruggedboy says: In a nation that has close to 50% population living below poverty line one should abstain from such extravagant activites for as a nation we need to take care of our peopel their needs and atleast provide them the bare essentially instead of blowing money on sending men to moon and risking thier lifes

Niceguy251 says: I agree with VS and Ruggedboy in toto।

Busybee says: Is there something more to be gaind by sending our man to the moon ? if yes, then we hv to send. A man on the moon and a hungry population are 2 diff things. We cannot stop sending a child to school to save money to repair the roof.. or buy food. What needs to be done to provide food and medical aid is to improve the implementation of the schemes that already exist.

Economic slowdown and Indian firms

A survey conducted among final year students of India's best MBA schools — including the IIMs, XLRI Jamshedpur and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management — shows that 71% would rather work in India than abroad.Do you think that Indian firms are more reliable for job security ?

Niceguy251 says: It does seem so। It is because of corporate cultures.

VS says: Dont know - never been 2 school :P:P seriously - the trend would be bcause of the current global meltdown, 6 months ago i dont believe that would be the reply.

Supreme court and Basic Qualification

No higher degree without having basic ones, says SC .Do you welcome this ruling?

Niceguy251 says: I think it makes a lot of sense।

LP says: does this apply to honoraray doctorates? Tch! TcH!

VS says: yes i do, makes sense na
