A research paper says that India is getting about 5% less sunlight than it did 20 years ago.Do you think that increased industrial activity should be blamed for it?

Any kind animal and human activity will impact environment continuing the evolution of this planet. Global warming, solar dimming, running out of resources, ice caps melting, ploar bears flying, etc will be som eof the studies similar to those linking large hips to IQ, and height to sexual performace...:D

No gain without pain so goes the saying. Progress will surely take its toll, that too when we, the human race begin to abuse nature beyond its point of tolerance. In as much as we enjoy the luxuries that modern science has brought to us, we have failed to respect nature. No other animal has abused nature & so still lives at peace wid nature.

I agree with VS " No gain without pain ". If you wish to enjoy comforts of advanced technology you have to pay the price too. Do you think all the aircrafts flying around do not affect the atomsphere? Have you seen aviation fuel trails in the sky behind every aircraft under some weather conditions but it is so all the time? When our technological advancement reaches a point when it is beyond Mother Nature to accomodate, it will be the end.
