Sati Act Amendments and Community

GoM clears amendments to the Sati Act which propose to make the entire village or community responsible for the crime. Do you think that this amendments is in the interest of society?

Making more laws? Hmmm. Fewer tighty enforced laws should suffice. This amendment only proves that law can't see beyond the pyre...

The intention may be good but bringing unenforceable Laws may not help to achieve the results.

LOL, this is a joke right? Why doesn't the government try implementing without corruption whatever laws they already have? When they can achieve that, then they should try creating new laws. Whats with the drama of new laws? They need to get off their fat corrupt rears and do some work.

and who will be responsible for mental, physical and emotional torture of women in homes that look good in all sense not only in rural but in chic urban areas too! ?????

intention of law is for betterment but there are loop holes shold be avoided

laws...laws...and laws...!!! Thr are already so many...why dont they enforce the laws strictly...?? The problem cud be solved then and thr...!!

arre baba..isnt that an amendment to an already existent act? I dont think this one is bad..it should work better.
