No, bcoz aajkal ki mummy log ka aadha kaam to bai karti hai, baki aadhe ka aadha papa log karte hain aur bacha hua hota nahi hai.

well according to me, theres no comparison. back then the housewives used to do the household chores. the families were joint rather than nuclear. the workload was more on the housewife. nowadays, moms are working. and balancing work life and professional life aint a simple feat. agreed tht the bai does majority of the work, but its not like moms dont work at all. so wud finally like to conclude by saying that, moms of previous generations were majorly into household work (100%), and moms of the present generation are into professional work(60%) as well as house hold work(40%)

ek to na yeh debate...samajh sa nahi aaya...:) I mean why do we need to compare our moms to our grandmoms na??? Each one is operating in an environment with some or the other obstacles....lets be fair enough to them.

do men today work harder than the grandpa's generation? why omit to ask that? why do we need questions like these. obviously it differs with different individuals. today women face different challenges, and when a woman dies every 5 minute due to childbirth in India and when she can be better off in Bangladesh or Sri Lanka, I would say things have not changed in a real sense for women. atleast in those days, people accepted women had issues, now people just focus on ash and shilpa and think women are doing fine..
