Present Education System in India

Education aims to impart knowledge and makes good citizens.
Do you think that present education system in India is efficient
in this regard or it is critically in need of reform ?

It is a catch 22, the education has helped us make what we are (economy wise), it is not what we learn but the work ethic instilled in us which goes a long way...Thats what is our USP Now if try to be progressive...we should shun these practises...is it correct to loose the USP which made the economy it is and is the driving force...hard work aint easy???

It needs to be changed.... Damm these reservations..... Why do we need them once when we want to practice equality.....???? Yes can surely help the fiancially needful by charging less fees.....but seats should be given only and only based on merits..... Also the donation seats are ruining the system....

The Edu system in India SUCKS. Kids carrying bags double their size, Tenth n Twelth graders slogging away the nights to get admissions, professional students getting blackmailed by examiners to pass in practical exams... and this is Not All !

Tough question. Clearly India can boast of some of the greatest eductaional institutions in the world. We have some of the best engineers, doctors, business men, statisticians, economists etc. So obviously something is right about our education system. But then why are so few with good education? Therein lies the problem. We do not have quality or even reasonable education for the masses or the poor or in rural parts. Our institutions for the most part are just for the privilidged. As far as reservations are concerned, fundamentally I am against them. But I think we all know that religious and caste based hatred in India is still extremely prevalent and that removal of reservations will pretty much ensure that certain segments of our population will receive nothing no matter how smart they are. Face it, we talk equality in India, we don't walk it. Cutting through the chase, yes we need change. We need to improve the quality of education provided to the poor and to rural parts of the country.

One can be a good citizen without education also .... :))) Depends somewhat on up bringing and moral values . Education in India is good , provided all its population takes advantage of it ,instead of indulging in communal religious schools alone . No , there is no critical need to reform the education given . More encouragement to parents to send children to school , less child labour , increasing wealth is essential .

As for the question the system is presently checking nothing but the rote learning abilities it should be designed in a way where it checks depth of understanding and its application and for that the whole system including teachers themselves need to change & evolve

I believe good education leads to a better nation. Everyone shall get a chance of better educations, Business shops should be shut and ideal people shall come forward to help building a better nation (No place for reservations). Help economical weeker sections by free education. More institutions like IIT's and IIM's shall be opened, or better, the level of other institutions shall be exteneded to provide good education. Education system shall produce enterprenuers who can help themselves as well as employ others?

I usually clean my sh!thole with Indian people's faces.
Whenever I finish taking sh!t from the restrooms, I remove excrements from my sh!thole with Indian people's faces rather than toilet papers.
Since toilet papers are expensive nowadays, I utilize Indian people's faces to remove excrements from my sh!thole.
Afterwards, I flush them down in the toilet bowls.
While those Indians get flushed, they bark
so madly with their ugly monkey faces.
Did you know that?
Whenever I flush Indians, they all looked like ugly monkies. So far, I have flushed 1,987,750 of Indian people in the toilet bowls in the public restrooms.
PS: Since Indians are the ugliest looking creatures in the world, they look far better with excrements blended and piled up on their faces rather than nothing on. So I blend with feces on their faces to look goods before
they get flushed in the toilet bowls.
Guess what, I saved a lot of money cleaning my sh!thole with monkies' faces like Indian ones.

Why don't you also have a try? It is very economical.
You can save a lot of
money!!!!!
Why don't you have a try?????
