No .Not at all . The politician may play a role in his field for a while but his first duty is to serve the janata . The actor may be play politics in his bid for good roles but his first duty is to entertain the janata .

Actor-Politician or Politician-Actor, whatever way it's called, it really doesn't matter. What the smart one would do is to take what's best in each of the roles taken on and to use these together in the service of the people. The politician's savvy in creating good policies and programs benefiting his constitiuncy -- can be helped by an actor's innate charisma which can draw attention to his good governance or programs and push it forward successfully. The bottomline is --- SERVICE TO AND FOR THE PEOPLE.
